Jiyoun Kim Studio collaborated on Unix Fit, a new dryer design project, with Unix Electronics.

Core product opportunity for Unix in Fit project was in compact BLDC dryer. Upon taking the brief, Jiyoun Kim Studio pushed the design scope to not only optimize the structure to effectively reduce the size but to hone in on the design language to create a visual solution to reduce the perceived size. In these efforts, circular core part with motor and intake are visually separated from the surrounding elements designed to create singular flow providing visually smaller device yet more handle length for better usability.

Fit is launched under Unix in 2023.
