“Drill is a tool for making holes”
Most current drills are loyal to this proposition. With such drills, professionals can easily make holes in any circumstances, because grips are perfectly engineered to prevent fatigues from extended operation. Unfortunately, most of us are not professionals. Most of us cannot maintain appropriate positions with heavy vibrations and strong forces of powerful drills. When we are careless with this dangerous tool, we end up with ugly holes or even finger injuries. Most importantly, drills are seldom needed in our everyday life. Unidrill is a design that closes the gap between ‘professional drill’ and nonprofessional ordinary folks.

To use Unidrill, rotate the handle 90 degrees to the left (right for lefties) Then, rotate the body to switch between different modes. Hold is a safety lock, and level 1 and 2 are for drilling different wall hardness. Users hold the handle with one hand, and push in the back of the drill with the other. The drill’s speed depends on how hard one pushes in, This is intuitive, direct interface, which mimics the blade going into the wall. This innovative interface is a key to Unidrill. It is much safer than typical, gun-type drills. The transparent cap around the blade supports and holds drill’s body, so it doesn’t need much grip from the users. This allows disabled, elderly, females, and kids to finally use the drill.
